INTRODUCTION

North Harbour Junior Cricket comprises representatives from local clubs North Shore, Takapuna, East Coast Bays, Birkenhead, Hibiscus Coast and Kumeu – with a pool of over 1400 junior players.

· Arrange a competition draw for all inter-club players Year 5 to Year 8

· Support clubs to promote participation in cricket

· Provide development programmes for talented players and players with potential

· Select age group representative players for the district Under 14 to Under 17

· Promote fair play in cricket, the traditions of the game and the spirit of cricket

· Promote opportunity for advanced coaching development

· Promote consistent and quality umpiring

· Maintain liaison with local Secondary School cricket, councils and other districts
